A Brief History
Parent's Time-Out, Inc. was founded
by Phil and Shari Schroeder in the fall of 1992 when they had a toddler of their
own and they couldn’t find adequate childcare. Shari is still the President of Parent's Time-Out, Inc., but their
toddler is now a teenager! As
that toddler grew, so did the Company – always changing and restructuring to
find the best way to help the most people.
Using her degree in Human Resources
and her love of computers Shari has been able to design a hiring system and web
site that allows applicants to register by phone or computer into our custom
database and then give parents direct access to that information. Parents can do their own search of our database on our web
site – and that means that applicants have more exposure to more parents. Applicants aren’t limited by an office staff that is trying to remember
200 applicants and what each of them wants!
We help hundreds of applicants each
year find childcare employment and we’re happy to have you registered with us.
