Program
If you find yourself with little time to get through your daily schedule, let
alone start a childcare search; or if you feel uncertain and don't know how to
go about hiring a caregiver for your children -- utilize our
staff and get the benefit of over 20 years of hiring experience combined with
fifteen years of nanny and agency expertise. This
service is very much like a full service placement program with the exception
that the parent is the one doing the face-to-face interview with the applicant.
PTO has conducted a lengthy interview process but has not necessarily met the
applicant face-to-face.
We'll select the
applicants that best match your job description and needs. We'll send
their profiles to you by fax,
email or regular mail (your choice, but faxing and
email produces the best
results).
Once you have
reviewed the profiles you can contact the applicants directly and talk to them about your
needs and what your position has to offer. This gives you the chance to
get an idea of the applicant's personality, behavior and attitude before
you meet. If the two of you agree that you would
like to move forward, you can invite the applicant for a face-to-face interview--an
interview for which you are thoroughly prepared because, not only has
PTO apprised you of the applicant's qualifications and background, but
you also have access to our suggested interview questions! |
I have used sitter connection since approximately 2000. I have been very happy
with the service and the quality of the sitters you
provide. I also have thought that your fees for this service have been very
reasonable. Last year, I stepped up my use of your services and hired a nanny
through your company. We hired Carena through your
service and she has been the best investment we have made! Your nanny service
gave us complete peace of mind. We loved receiving the
resumes and the fact that your service did all of the background checking and
references. Again, your fees for this service were
quite reasonable....especially considering what a
great find we got! Carena is still with us and has been so much more
than we ever dreamed! She does so much for our family, that we have no
need to participate in the sitter connection at this
time. I wanted to just send you this feedback

After you've met with the candidates you can narrow down your list
to your top choices. You'll contact us and let us know who your
top choices are and then we will contact their professional, employment and character
references. We'll give you a reporting of the reference and employment verification
process so that you can decide which applicant best meets
your needs.
You can now make a
conditional offer of employment to the caregiver you've chosen. After your conditional offer of employment is accepted
by the caregiver we'll perform our
Extended background screen. This screen includes:

An address search. This will
provide us with valuable information about where the applicant has resided
(so that we can conduct criminal searches in the proper locations) and will
also show any other names associated with the applicant's social security
which we will verify against the locations that the applicant has told us
she has resided and we will also use to determine where to conduct our
criminal searches. |

A Social Security trace
to help verify the applicant's identity.
This trace also makes it possible to find other names associated with the
applicant's Social Security number and date of birth and will assist us in
determining the names to submit for criminal searches. |

A county by county search in all Arizona counties, using all names
by which the applicant has been known while they have lived in Arizona. |

After running the address and Social Security searches, we will run criminal
searches in every county the applicant has
resided in during the past three years (that are available and known by PTO)
under every name that the applicant has been known (that is available and
known by PTO).

A National sex
offender search. |

The applicant's
driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles from the state in which
their current license is issued as well as any other states (that are
available and known by PTO) for the previous three years. |

We will
contact child care and employment references for the applicant -- anywhere
from three to six -- character references if necessary (if the applicant has
not been employed recently character references may be necessary to get a
complete picture of the applicant). |
Results will typically be known within two
business days, but may take up to ten days for applicants
that have resided out of Arizona. You'll be
contacted with the results and a final report will be sent to you with all of
the background and reference information.
Enrollment:
Because this program provides for a very individualized service we are not
able to accept every order. After you fill out the enrollment forms
Heather will contact you to discuss your needs and to determine if we have the
ability to take your order at this time. If you prefer you may contact
Heather prior to completing the forms and discuss you needs over the phone.
