Arizona Family: Channel 3's web site with links and information of interest to families in Arizona. Baby Center: A web community for the expecting and new parent. Baby Catalog: An on-line catalogue of baby products. Baby Place: A web community for the expecting and new parent Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Arizona: Non-profit agency that matches adult volunteers to children from single-parent homes in need of a one-to-one caring, consistent relationship. Childcare Resource and Referral: An Arizona community service that helps match families with childcare providers. Also offers information on classes for parents and providers. Classes and Training: PTO's page providing information on Arizona classes and training courses for families and childcare providers. Comfort Living: A family website, including an on-line baby superstore and information on how to "allergy-proof" your home if your child is an allergy or asthma sufferer. Dad-to-Dad: was started in January, 1995 to provide an opportunity for at-home fathers to get together, share information, and receive positive reinforcement through children’s play groups, dad’s-night-out dinners and newsletters. Arizona Chapters! Gymboree: Online children's store and list of Gymboree play and music classes. Little Deals: Is the premier online auction website for new and used baby items. The fun way to buy and sell baby stuff. Nova Parenting: A parenting website designed by parents. Includes bulletin boards, tips, developmental information, recipes and more. Parent's Place: A parenting web site sponsored by iVillage. This site includes discussions on becoming pregnant, the actual pregnancy, and your child's "babyhood". Parent Soup: Also a parenting website sponsored by iVillage. Includes discussion on everything from potty training to puberty and everything in between. Parenthood Web: A parenting web site whose motto is "Helping Families Grow." Partnership for Immunization: Website sponsored by the National Partnership for Immunizations. Includes when, why, where and everything else you could possibly want to know about immunizations. Poison Prevention: Banner Health System's website for poison prevention. Has information on how to handle snake and spider bites, your household checklist and even a babysitter's guide. Single Parents Association: Support group for one-parent homes. Slowlane.com: The on-line resource for stay-at-home-dads. Southwest Autism Research Center: Phoenix-based non-profit organization that studies autism, helps children, trains parents and provides up-to-date information. U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission: This is a great site to check on periodically, or get on their email list for product alerts and recalls. Whispering Hopes Ranch: Located in Payson, Arizona. A non-profit organization that brings people with illnesses together. They offer camps for children and families dealing with autism as well as other challenges. Windsor Peak: To order their editions of Baby Bargains, a guide on what's really worth buying for your child--and what's not. |
